Quercus gemelliflora is a tree species in the beech family Fagaceae. there are no known subspecies. It is placed in subgenus Cerris, section Cyclobalanopsis (the ring-cupped oaks). It is native to Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Java, and Sumatra.
