It is situated in the La Paz Department at the border of the Bautista Saavedra Province, Curva Municipality, and the Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality. Ulla Qhaya lies east of the lake Ch'uxña Quta and the northwestern side of the mountain Iskillani.
