The Ottawa Senators are a professional ice hockey team based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. They are members of the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The franchise joined the NHL in 1992 as an expansion team, reviving the name of the original Ottawa Senators, one of the league's founding franchises that competed from 1917 to 1934. Since entering the league, the Senators have qualified for the Stanley Cup playoffs on numerous occasions, winning one President's Trophy as the NHL's top regular-season team and capturing the Eastern Conference championship in 2007, when they made their first appearance in the Stanley Cup Final.

As of the conclusion of the 2025–26 season, a total of 475 players have suited up for the Senators: 50 goaltenders and 425 skaters. Over more than three decades of play, the franchise has been represented by numerous notable players, including Hall of Famers, major award winners, and several of the most prominent players in modern Canadian hockey.

Only four players in franchise history have won major individual NHL awards while members of the Senators. Daniel Alfredsson won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league's rookie of the year in 1996, the King Clancy Memorial Trophy in 2012, and the Mark Messier Leadership Award in 2013. Bobby Ryan received the Bill Masterton Trophy in 2020 for perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey, while Craig Anderson earned the same honour in 2017. Defenceman Erik Karlsson captured the James Norris Memorial Trophy as the NHL's top defenceman in both 2012 and 2015, becoming the first Senator to win the award and one of the most decorated players in franchise history.

Alfredsson served as team captain from 1999 to 2013, making him the longest-serving captain in franchise history. Widely regarded as the greatest player in the history of the modern Senators franchise, he remains the club's all-time leader in regular-season and playoff goals, assists, and points. He also holds the franchise record for most playoff games played. Defenceman Chris Phillips is the franchise leader in regular-season games played with 1,179 appearances, narrowly surpassing Alfredsson's total of 1,178 games. Chris Neil, renowned for his physical style of play and longevity with the organization, holds the franchise record for penalty minutes, accumulating 2,522 in the regular season and an additional 204 in the playoffs over the course of his 15-season NHL career.

In goal, Patrick Lalime and Craig Anderson dominate the Senators' record books. Lalime holds franchise records for regular-season and playoff shutouts and also leads all Ottawa goaltenders in playoff appearances. Anderson, who spent ten seasons with the organization, holds team records for regular-season appearances and victories by a goaltender. The two netminders are tied for the most playoff wins in franchise history, each playing a significant role during some of the club's most successful postseason runs.

The seasons column lists the first year of the season of the player's first game and the last year of the season of the player's last game. For example, a player who played one game in the 2000–01 season would be listed as playing with the team from 2000–01, regardless of what calendar year the game occurred within.

Statistics are complete to the end of the 2025–26 NHL season.
